Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

Jurnal Ilmiah Farmasi Simplisia (JIFS) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 750,000 (seven hundred and fifty thousand Indonesian rupiah) per accepted article.

The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following the journal's peer-review and editorial decision-making process. No payment is required at the manuscript submission stage or during the peer-review process.

The APC is intended to support the operational costs associated with the publication process, including editorial administration, manuscript preparation, layout formatting, and online publication.

Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions or the peer-review process. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their scientific quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, and compliance with the journal's editorial standards.

Authors will be provided with payment instructions after their manuscripts have been accepted. The APC must be paid in accordance with the instructions provided by the editorial office before the article is published.

The APC policy is applied transparently and consistently to all authors. Any changes to the APC amount or payment terms will be announced on the journal's official website.
