Responsibilities of the Publisher

The publisher supports the editorial team in maintaining the integrity and quality of the journal. The publisher must respect editorial independence and must not interfere with editorial decisions concerning the scientific merit of manuscripts.

The publisher should provide appropriate support for the implementation of publication ethics policies and for addressing suspected misconduct, corrections, and retractions in cooperation with the editorial team.

Handling Research and Publication Misconduct

Suspected cases of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, inappropriate authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other forms of misconduct will be assessed by the editorial team.

Where appropriate, the editor may request clarification or supporting evidence from the authors and may contact the relevant institution or other responsible body. Editorial action will be proportionate to the nature and seriousness of the concern and may include rejection of a manuscript, correction of a published article, publication of an expression of concern, or retraction.

The journal will refer to relevant COPE guidance when handling complex cases. All allegations will be considered fairly, and the parties involved will be given an appropriate opportunity to respond.

Corrections and Retractions

If a published article contains a significant error that affects the accuracy or interpretation of its findings, the journal may publish a correction. Retraction may be considered when the findings are unreliable, serious misconduct is established, or other circumstances compromise the integrity of the published record.

Correction and retraction notices will clearly identify the affected article and explain the reason for the editorial action. The journal will follow relevant ethical guidance to ensure that the scholarly record is corrected transparently.
